Major Jason E. George VFW 12114 joined our Tehachapi community for the Tehachapi Night Out held on Aug. 6. On Saturday evening, Oct. 23, Major Jason E. George VFW 12114 celebrated its 10th anniversary and held Christina's Seventh Annual Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser. The night started with our Master of Ceremonies, Marty Pay, welcoming everyone. He introduced the commander, Russell Slover, who sang a beautiful rendition of "Amazing Grace." This year’s fundraiser for pancreatic cancer research was once again successful. Adam Zanutto was a Marine who gave all for his country. On October 7, Major Jason E. George VFW was honored to present a Gold Star to his father, Rick Zanutto, for the loss of his son Adam in Iraq.
