    Major Jason E. George VFW 12114 joined our Tehachapi community for the Tehachapi Night Out held on Aug. 6. The event helps our children to become aware of our community services such as the police, paramedics, fire department and many other organizations that are here to help us all.     On Saturday evening, Oct. 23, Major Jason E. George VFW 12114 celebrated its 10th anniversary and held Christina's Seventh Annual Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser. The night started with our Master of Ceremonies, Marty Pay, welcoming everyone. He introduced the commander, Russell Slover, who sang a beautiful rendition of "Amazing Grace."     Adam Zanutto was a Marine who gave all for his country. On October 7, Major Jason E. George VFW was honored to present a Gold Star to his father, Rick Zanutto, for the loss of his son Adam in Iraq. Ben Rodrigues, an Army Iraq veteran and a member of the Major Jason E.     People have asked us why we are doing Christina’s Sixth Annual Fundraiser for Pancreatic Cancer Research in a year when there have been so many devastating issues facing our country.
