The Tehachapi Gandy Dancers held their June Bug Dance at the Tehachapi Senior Center. It was attended by not only the Gandy Dancers but by the Joaquin Squares, Mountain Squares and the Rounders. In addition to the traditional square and round dancing, a new element was added – line dancing. A good time was had by all! Tehachapi Gandy Dancers' Annual Christmas Party was well attended by clubs from Palmdale and Bakersfield. Dancers were asked to bring Toys for Tots. They were extremely generous, not only in the quantity, but also the quality of the toys. The Christmas spirit was felt by all with the singing of Christmas carols in between each dance session.
