A few months ago, a gentleman from the Tehachapi Amatuer Radio Club stopped into the Chamber and asked for information about joining. I was intrigued by ham radio and in no time, I was signing myself up to learn all about it, scheduling the test to talk on the radio and have a chance to hear from an astronaut. In this edition of Chamber Chat, I have the privilege to share a few words from this local non-profit about ham radio and why it's so important. The following was submitted by Micah...

It wasn't long before I saw her at multiple charity functions, volunteering all over town and lending her skills to anyone who was in need. Now it is my privilege to introduce Lindsay to you. Lindsay, a local Realtor at Miramar International, has a...

JR Long, owner of Tehachapi Signs, has been keeping busy producing memorabilia for the Diamond Anniversary of the Tehachapi Mountain Festival. In the last few months, he has designed the festival's logo, created high end steel hanging trophies for Thunder on the Mountain winners, printed commemorative t-shirts and keychains, among other things.
