After a three-year COVID hiatus, preparations are underway for the 2023 Kids Day at the Museum to be held Sunday, Sept. 17 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Tehachapi Museum, 310 S. Everyone is invited to attend an Audubon field trip on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Nature Park in Golden Hills. Come walk the trails in the west part of the park; identifying birds, viewing raptor nests, and learning about birds of prey as you watch a demonstration given by local falconers.
