    Dade Keith was the recipient of the 2023 Family Life Pregnancy Center Scholarship Award.   • Local Boy Scout builds bench on Pacific Crest Trail

    Gary Gomes of Boy Scout Troop 135 in Bear Valley Springs became an Eagle Scout on January 24, 2017. For his Eagle Scout Project, he built a bench on the Pacific Crest Trail for the hikers to rest on and enjoy. Gary started scouting as a Cub Scout and really enjoyed it, so he continued on to Webelos Scout and earned his Arrow of Light.
