Members of the Tehachapi Community Church recently recognized Ellen Hays, a long-time resident of Tehachapi, who celebrated her 90th birthday on July 1. On a recent Saturday morning, the Tehachapi Mountain Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) sponsored a tour of The Spaceship Company (TSC) and Virgin Galactic (VG) in Mojave.
