In Part 1 in the last issue of The Loop, I shared how my disappointment at the absence of keynote speaker, Hollywood producer Leo Severino, at the Second Annual "A Night in the Vineyard" on August 27, 2016, turned to delight with the sharing of two young Hollywood stars, "Joe" and "Michael." We had gathered at Triassic Vineyard to help raise funds for the Norbertine Sisters' new chapel project (more details on this in The Loop, August 6, 2016). We left off in the last article with "Joe" being...
What a privilege it is to come out of a seminar inspired, rejuvenated and full of ideas and steps to make improvements that will have a positive impact in one's life. Such was the experience of more than a dozen participants from several Tehachapi organizations who attended the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) at the Desert Vineyard Church in Lancaster, California, Aug. 11-12, 2016. Hosted every year from its campus in Barrington, Illinois, the twoday seminar is able to attract more than 300,000...

The earliest members of the harvesting crew started at 7 p.m. Saturday and continued at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, using headlamps to augment the moon's glow while they removed the netting in anticipation of the arrival of the pickers. This is the first year that Triassic has used the netting to prevent extensive damage from the...
It all started with a tea party and the latest chapter closed with a bright moon shining over "A Night in the Vineyard," on Saturday, August 29, at the Triassic Vineyard. There, a sold-out crowd of 130 enjoyed delicious food and wine and lively auction action, in support of the Norbertine Canonesses of Tehachapi. The event – the first of many we are told – was organized by "Friends of the Norbertine Sisters in Tehachapi," a group that started after several local women attended a fundraising tea...
