I love spring. As a minister of the Gospel, I look not only to the weather of the changing seasons for inspiration, but I look to the seasons of the church as well. In the tradition of the church year, the season of Lent prepares us for the celebration of Easter. Lent is a time of self-examination, prayer, fasting, and generous giving to those in need.
