    March is Women's History Month. Women's History Month started in 1911 with March 8 designated as International Women's Day. In 1979, schools in Sonoma, Calif. came up with Women's History Week, which became so popular around the country that it was recognized by the U.S. Congress in 1981.   • Golden Hills School Science Fair

    Golden Hills School held their annual science fair on January 31, 2018. We had a record 258 projects entered. Congratulations to the kids and parents for taking on a big project and completing it. The overall winners were Emma Gonzales and Joshua Boles. They now get to compete in the Kern County Regional Science fair.
