The Tehachapi Amateur Radio Association will be busy the end of October. On the morning of Friday, Oct. 27, we demonstrated at the East Kern Career Expo until noon at the Mojave Air and Space Port. On Saturday, Oct. 28, we will have a booth for the local Golden Hills residents at the Ghoulden Hills Trick or Treat Halloween event. This event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Golden Hills CSD. The Tehachapi Amateur Radio Association will be giving a demonstration of Ham Radio and its modern capabilities to the Boys & Girls Clubs Of Kern County. This demonstration will take place at the E.L. Jack and Monica Armstrong Youth Center, 801 Niles St., Bakersfield.
