    The Tehachapi Symphony bids a fond farewell to Cellist Samuel Torres, who is leaving this week to attend Coast Guard Boot Camp in New Jersey. The Coast Guard is very selective and only takes the finest recruits into their ranks. Samuel definitely fits that definition. Samuel has played the Cello since he was 9 years old.     On Sunday, March 12, Rufus Choi will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto #5, "Emperor." The concert begins at 4 p.m at Country Oaks Baptist Church, 20915 Schout Rd.
