On May 16, at approximately 4:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of structure fire at Coy Burnett Stadium, at the 700 block of E. Tehachapi Blvd. The damaged structure is the snack bar the Tehachapi High School Boosters use for fundraisers and THS local games. Officers immediately evacuated the surrounding area and the Kern County Fire Department arrived to extinguish the flames. There was major damage caused to the interior of the building.
