The 20th annual Thunder on the Mountain Car and Truck Show will be held on Sunday, August 20 in historic downtown Tehachapi. A group of Tehachapi's Oak Creek Horses and their owners will make their debut in the upcoming Mountain Festival Parade in Tehachapi, August 19. These horses were once roaming wild here in our mountains and are believed to be descended from early Morgan ranches here in Tehachapi. The parade starts at 10 a.m. downtown on West F Street. The members of BGC come from the clogging class which is offered by Bakersfield Recreation and Parks.
