About 60 people were at the Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum on Sunday afternoon, July 30, for a demonstration of the Bill Stokoe Signal Collection located outside of the museum. On Thursday, July 27, the CSD Board met to pass the annual budget. The board praised the budget for the most part. One sticking point was that it allowed a 2.8% COLA for staff. Members of the board were concerned that it was stated without first negotiations. After some back and forth, the budget was finally passed 5-0, with the COLA taken out temporarily until negotiations could be completed.
