    On Aug. 26 at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers with the Tehachapi Police Department received a report of a possible residential burglary in the 500 block of Mesquite Drive in the City of Tehachapi.     On Aug. 11 the Tehachapi Police Department was made aware of a possible criminal threat posted to social media. The possible threat was related to intentions to engage in a shooting at a local retailer. Detectives immediately began an investigation and located additional posts from the same individual depicting photographs of an assault rifle.     During the early morning hours of Aug. 12 a passerby observed a broken window to a business located in the 100 Block of E. F St. The Tehachapi Police Department responded to the location and discovered the business (gun store) had been burglarized.
