Tehachapi's 11th annual Apple Festival was home to delicious food, lively music, a diverse range of vendors and a bustling environment for all to enjoy. Blanche "Irene" Murphy, formerly of Tehachapi, passed away in Orange County, California on Sept. 7. Irene, as she was known, was born in Golden, Colorado to Pearl and Jake Foreman on Feb. 9, 1941. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Richard Murphy, adult children, adult grandchildren and great grandchildren.
