    A number of currently deployed military personnel will be receiving specially prepared care packages made by members of the Tehachapi Community Congregational Church. It's part of a program that says, "Thank you," to our men and woman actively deployed around the world this Veterans day.     In December, the Tehachapi Heritage League's Errea House Museum will continue its "Christmas Around the World" celebration. Each year the museum features Christmas customs and traditional foods from around the globe. This year the Christmas customs, foods and culture of the Basque regions of France and Spain will be celebrated.     "Winterdance," a Celtic Christmas celebration, will return to Tehachapi for two performances in the BeeKay Theatre on Sunday, Dec.+ 23. The concert, put on by Fiddlers Crossing, has been a sell-out the last four years. Something she has been working with for the last six months to prepare for a 16 by 25-foot mural in Lancaster, Calif. that was completed in October.   • Tehachapi Treasure Trove featuring Toys for Tots and Paint an Ornament

    For First Friday in December, Tehachapi Treasure Trove will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots. Bring a new, unwrapped toy (ages 6-12) then get a wood ornament to decorate for our unique gridwall Holiday Tree. The Treasure Trove will supply the ornaments and colored markers.
