Barnes has been the Pastor there for three years and is moving on to a new adventure as a teacher and coach in Stephensville, Tex. Originally from Texas, the move back is going home for them. Stallion Springs Community Church held Vacation Bible School on July 8-12. The theme of the event was, "Roar Life is Wild, God is Good." An average of 80 kids per day participated. Kern County Audubon Society visited Stallion Springs to check out the local birds along the lake at Horse Thief Park on Saturday, June 22.
