Residents were brought up to date on the upgrades to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, required water banking beginning in 2017, and status of the community mailboxes and newspaper tubes. The club is currently preparing the Community Garden for this year.     There will be Town Hall Meetings held on Friday, October 23 at 6 p.m. and Saturday October 24 to discuss Measure B on the November Ballot. A “yes” vote on the measure by at least two thirds of the voters would provide a $50 per parcel tax for police protection services within the Stallion Springs CSD.     The Oktoberfest held on Saturday, Oct. 3 was a rousing success. CSD's General Manager Lori Rodgers estimated there were over 1,200 attendees during the six hour period.     The Race is On Race Communications is racing right along toward providing fiber optic service to Stallion Springs. Race team member Raul Alcaraz provided an update on their progress at the July 21 Board of Directors meeting. Alcaraz reported that as a safety issue Southern California Edison is replacing some substandard poles in the area and Race is putting in some temporary poles along Banducci Road and Stallion Springs Drive.
