The Tehachapi Planning Commission met on the evening of Dec. 13 at the Tehachapi Police Department Community Room to consider several projects. It is with sadness we announce that Nadine Gayle Hessing, 95, died February 23. Nadine was a resident of Tehachapi for 41 years. She loved Tehachapi and only left when she could no longer live alone. She moved to Tacoma, Washington, to live with her daughter, Toni Morrill, in 2018. Nadine was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but lived in Iowa and Texas before her family moved to San Diego, California in 1939.
