The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District will present the Mountain Gallop 5K/10K on Saturday, Aug. 16. Entrants will meet at Philip Marx Central Park. Brooke Sasia, popular Tehachapi High School Junior and the 2014 Delegate to Girls State, was on hand to present the first Poppy to Matthew Young, District Manager of Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District. Police Chief Mike Grant presented his 2013 Year in Review report and Strategic Plan for 2014/2015 to support and sustain the department to the Stallion Springs CSD Board of Directors at its Feb. 18 meeting with over 60 residents in attendance. Neighborhood Watch held its regular meeting on Monday, Jan. 20 in the Emergency Operations Center at the Stallion Administration Building with over 40 residents in attendance.
