Playwright's Festival open auditions are Feb 1 and 2, 2014. The Art Studio will be hosting an event in which local artists and art lovers come together to share in a unique showing of “tasteful” art. On Feb. 14 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. guests will experience gallery art accompanied by a matching food sample for a full art experience. For example, one entry was that of an apple painting accompanied by caramel candies and therefore the viewer enjoyed a “caramel apple”. The "world premiere" of Talking Stone, The Rock Art of The Cosos will be held in Tehachapi on Thursday Jan. 23. The premiere will be screened at The Hitching Post Theater at 6 p.m. with a brief introduction of the producer and others involved with film, followed by a Q & A session.
