On July 29, volunteers assisted Tehachapi Valley Recreation & Park District with much needed repairs at Ollie Mountain Skate Park, located at 490 West D St. When TVRPD met with the volunteers, they told them they didn't have the manpower to keep up with the demanding summer duties and also repair the skate park. The volunteers eagerly stepped in to help and the skate park should reopen soon....
