At their chili cook-off fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 25, the Tehachapi High School Robotics Team 585 (Cyber Penguins) unveiled their 2017 competition robot. This year's competition theme is Steampunk and the robot must perform functions using gears. Saturday, Feb. 11 marked Tehachapi's 10th Annual Valentine's Wine and Chocolate Tasting sponsored by Main Street Tehachapi. This year there were 24 tasting locations at local businesses beginning with glass and map pick up at the future Stray Leaves tasting room located at the old bank building on the corner of Green and F Streets.
