AT JANUARY 14 AD HOC COMMITTEE MEETING
The Kern County Board of Supervisors will convene a special ad hoc committee meeting to gather public input on options for implementing a widespread spay and neuter program in Kern County on January 14, 2014, at 6:00 PM in the 3rd Floor Multi-Purpose Room of the County Administrative Building, 1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA.
Fifth District Supervisor and Chairwoman Leticia Perez and Fourth District Supervisor David Couch will lead the meeting to gather suggestions and information from animal advocacy groups on how to design and implement an effective spay and neuter program to combat animal overpopulation throughout the County. All organizations that focus on the welfare of animals are encouraged to attend and provide input on this important issue.
