Gallery ‘N’ Gifts and the TVAA will be open for First Friday. Located on the corner of Tehachapi Blvd. and Green St. come by to see what they are up to. Photographer, Stephen Lee featured at Gallery ‘n’ Gifts.

Sheridan’s Boutique Home Consignment are featuring fine furniture and home deco. They are located at 108 W. Tehachapi Blvd. next to Kelcy’s Restaurant.

Oak Tree Art, Antiques, Etc. is right next door to Gallery ‘N’ Gifts.

Tehachapi Treasure Trove, 116 E. Tehachapi Blvd. will be open during First Friday with refreshments and live music. Come see their new look. Featured artist is Marla Stevens.

Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum at 101 W. Tehachapi Blvd. will be open for First Friday to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. The Depot has become “on track” as a world class destination.

Music, refreshments and a Birthday Cake will be provided, while featuring a display about “Women in Railroading.” FOTD tour directors will be available for questions and tours of the Museum, while sharing historical artifacts as well as local railroad historical information.

“All Aboard” for a fun evening at the Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum at 101 W. Tehachapi Blvd.

Also open is Tehachapi Museum at 310 S. Green St. Come see their new displays. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

Tehachapi Christian Store has live music on First Friday. The local band, “Heart for Jesus.” will be playing original songs along with praise and worship music with vocal harmonies. The band members are Gary and Pat Smith, and Kirk and Kathy Yale. Come enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and be inspired. Refreshments will be served during intermission.

Community Congregational Church, Fellowship Hall, 100 E. E St. Tehachapi, CA, corner of S. Green St.

Pencil portraits by Cheryl Harris will be the highlight of First Friday on June 6 at Tehachapi Community Church, corner of Green and E streets. Harris has been drawing portraits for 44 years using graphite pencil, colored pencil, and most recently, digital portraits on a computer. She will display her work, answer questions, and give advice.

Fair trade products of coffee, tea, and chocolate will be offered for sale. Thistle Farm lotions, soaps, and candles will also be available for purchase. These products are made by survivors of prostitution, trafficking, and addiction. 661-822-4340
