June 21, 2014 Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District is proud to announce the opening bands for the (free) Summer Music in the Park Series. Headlining the first concert is world traveled ADEMA. With Tehachapi being the first stop on their summer tour and an album set to release on July 22 it is great timing to hear the new songs from the popular band that calls Bakersfield home. Opening for ADEMA is Lions Named Leo, a Bakersfield band with two lead vocalists and a trumpeter. Their sound is a refreshing blend of ska, reggae, rock, punk and funk. Now, with Grammy winning Manager/Promoter Dennis Rubenstein & team, these Lions are ready to pounce! The night will begin with Bakersfield local band Vlad Arthur at 5 p.m. As with all of the music in the park events, great food and great craft beer serving begins at 4 p.m. at Meadowbrook Park. Grab your friends and family for a summer evening of great food, craft beer

and incredible music. For more information on music in the park and the bands, visit http://tvrpd.org.
