What's Up in Stallion Springs?

The Stallion Springs CSD Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 17 at the CSD/Police/ Administrative building. General Manager Mary Beth Garrison noted that the CSD is taking the lead in water conversation and has received a $20,000 grant to assist in

re-landscaping to help with water conservation. She also thanked the residents of the community for their efforts in saving water, reporting that the usage for May was down by two million gallons compared to May of last year in spite of it being hotter and drier this year.

Garrison also reported that bids were due for the repaving of Stallion Springs Drive from the Crofun to the bridge. This is the first time in 28 years that the road has been repaved.

The board then proceeded with hearings and approval of resolutions on road assessments, water standby/availability charges, sewer standby/availability charges, collecting water and flat fee charges from inactive accounts, delinquent charges from unpaid utility bills and collecting assessment to fund the cost of the police/administrative building.
