California City's Holiday Village

The California City Economic Development Corporation (EDC), in collaboration with the Mable Davis Senior Center, the California City Optimist Club and other community groups, is having a special Christmas HOLIDAY VILLAGE in the desert at California City’s Central Park (10221 Heather Ave, California City).

There will be falling snow, a fun sleigh hill for the kids, thousands of lights over an eighth of a mile path surrounded by vendors and food kiosks. An art competition, a craft workshop for kids, Christmas Carolers, holiday music, and a Christmas tree contest are just part of this premier Holiday Celebration.

Christmas trees entered by businesses in the contest will be donated to local needy families. Entry fee is $1 donation & the Kids’ Craft Workshop is 50¢. Kids under 5 years old are free with parents.

Of course, Santa and his entourage will be there too, so bring your camera.
