The Stallion Springs Board of Directors swore in Sandy Young and Vince McLaughlin as new members of the Board of Directors after having been elected in the November election.
The board voted to appoint a new member to replace David Burt who resigned from the board on November 23. The position was posted on December 17, 2014 and "Letters of Interest" are now being accepted.
In addition to the general letter of interest are four questions the board would like to have answered to assist in the evaluation process.

The appointment will be made at the CSD board meeting on January 20.
Also posted on the website is a memorandum from the Law Offices of Young Wooldridge laying out the procedures regarding board vacancy.
For the month of November the Police Department had 130 reports, 79 calls for service, seven arrests, 15 citations were issued, they handled 45 want and warrant checks, and 74 officer initiated investigations. There were 36 field interviews and four medical assists. The Citizens Service Unit conducted 61 vacation house checks, 15 infrastructure checks and two welfare checks.
The Police Activities League held a Christmas party for children from Jamison Center. Officers also assisted in providing help to families in the Stallion Springs area over the holidays.
