First Fridays have become a fun evening for us to open our doors, get out some arts and crafts, a little music, some yummy food, light a sanctuary full of candles and engage in fun, creativity, or prayerful meditation. Come and join us on Friday, Feb. 6 from 5 - 8 p.m. Refreshments and hospitality and shopping will be served at all the venues participating.

Tehachapi Treasure Trove is located at 116 E Tehachapi Boulevard, right across the street from the water tower in Railroad Park. Winter hours are daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The Tehachapi Christian Store will host favorites Walt and Pam Ryba of the “One in Him” Christian band from Frazier Park. This will be their third concert at the store. They sing and play in a way that is worshipful and a lot of fun. They are good-hearted folk who love the Lord, and it shows. Come and be blessed! The concert is from 6-8 pm on Friday, Feb. 6th. The concert is free as usual and refreshments will be served. Located at 108 East Tehachapi Blvd. in Downtown Tehachapi.
Tehachapi Community Church, at the corner of Green and E Street, will participate in the downtown event from 5 to 8 p.m. With the popularity of “pairing” these days, that is the theme for the evening. Organic Fair Trade chocolate paired with tea or coffee will be demonstrated and available to taste. In addition, The Dark Side of Chocolate will be shown. It is a documentary which describes working in cocoa plantations.
