Rotary Club of Tehachapi welcomes new members

The Rotary Club of Tehachapi has been busy welcoming new members which are pictured here.

It is our privilege to serve the community in a variety of ways. One of the many projects we do locally is replacing smoke alarm batteries for seniors the week after the clocks change on Nov. 14. In December we do our Senior Holiday luncheon and we work with Kiwanis and The Salvation Army to serve families a pancake breakfast and pictures with Santa. We send ten high school students to leadership camp, give graduating seniors scholarships, promote literacy by giving kindergarten students personalized books, we do career workshops with youth, plus donate money, food and clothes to the Salvation Army as needed.
