Board of Directors

At its April 19 meeting the Board of Directors voted to remove all of the dilapidated newspaper tube stations

leaving the delivery of newspapers up to the subscribers and the newspaper company. The board also voted to

continue to see what could be done to have the Post Office replace the MAL locks due to the recent mail thefts.

The Board also approved the purchase of two new police rated vehicles on a lease purchase plan utilizing the

Police Department Capital Reserve funds. There will be four annual payments of $23,053.65 and a buy out of $1 at the end of the lease. These vehicles will replace two of the older, high-mileage and or salvaged vehicles, none of which are police rated.
