Wall of Valor

As we near the celebration of our July Fourth Independence Day, the City of Tehachapi is once again preparing to enjoy its All-American Hotdog Festival.

While this festival will allow friends and families to play together, it will also provide an opportunity for all those in attendance to celebrate the great freedoms that we have been afforded as citizens of this country. It will also give each of us an opportunity to honor the brave men and women from Tehachapi who protect those freedoms through their service in the armed forces.

This year, as in years past, a Wall of Valor is being created in the Gazebo in Central Park. Photos and information about our Tehachapi area soldiers will be displayed on the wall.

We have received a number of submissions for this year's wall. It is always great to see the wonderful response from those wishing to honor loved ones and we hope that as we enjoy the Hotdog Festival celebrations, we will also remember all those who sacrificed in defense of this country.
