Nancy Palmer, President American Legion Auxiliary Unit 221 Linda Carmichael, Patriotic Service Dog Foundation Representative Kim Costa, and Harriet Clendenin at the Stallion Springs Oktoberfest raising funds and awareness to the Foundation, a non- profit organization whose motto is 22-zero. Each day 22 of our heroes will take their own lives, and the foundations goal is to reduce that statistic to zero by providing those in need with a highly trained service dog at no cost to the veteran. Service dogs make a huge difference in the Veterans life, and can ease the Veterans stresses. Each dog is trained from puppy on and usually takes 2 years to be completely trained.
