Sunday & Monday, May 28-29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the Sunday and Monday of the 2017 Memorial Day Weekend, Exotic Feline Breeding Compound is proud again to acknowledge and thank active duty US military members and their immediate dependents for their courage and sacrifice by extending free admission when visiting EFBC over the two day event. Military-issued ID must be presented to gain FREE admission for the active military member and immediate family member(s). *Active Duty US Military are Active Duty personnel of the US Military, Reservist, National Guard and Coast Guard Personnel.
EFBC extends this special invitation as a way for US Military to enjoy a day with families, visiting one of the world's largest, most diverse collections of endangered wild feline species in a very unique setting. Though general admission remains in place for other visitors, EFBC invites everyone to spend the days with wild cats and stop by to show support and say "thank you" to our US Military.
The EFBC's Feline Conservation Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of endangered wild feline species. The center houses more than 75 rare felines representing 17 wild feline species. Daily visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Wednesday's), where guests can view large wildcats like the familiar Jaguars and Leopards to smaller and lesser known species like Southeast Asian Fishing Cats, Margays and many more.
Since 1977, and through its very successful captive breeding management programs, the EFBC has been working with other zoos and facilities, worldwide, in an effort to save endangered feline species from extinction. For more information, or directions to visit EFBC, please call (661) 256-3793, log on to http://www.wildcatzoo.org, or check out our Facebook page. Admission is nominal and parking is free.
