Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association (TMTA) proudly presents the 2nd Annual Tehachapi Mountain Bike (MTB) BrewFondo, a 21 and over ride, in conjunction with the Tehachapi Mountain Beer and Wine Fest being held at Benz Visco Sports Park.
There are three course lengths to choose from and all courses are a combination of gravel roads, some pavement, and intermediate level single track trails in the Lehigh Trails area – the very same trails that has hosted the SoCal National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) Mountain Bike Championships for the past 2 years. These trails are primarily pristine single track with breathtaking views of Tehachapi Valley and surrounding mountains.
The ride will begin at 11 a.m. and is expected to last 2-3 hours, ending at 2 p.m. and will be followed with BBQ and beverages served by TMTA volunteers until the onset of the Brew Fest from 4 to 8 p.m. Each entry will receive a custom designed T-shirt, a finisher's medallion, and a swag bag chock full of goodies. There will be onsite bike vendors providing bike maintenance services as well as selling bike parts and apparel.
Come up to Tehachapi and enjoy cooler temperatures, awesome mountain bike trails, clean fresh mountain air, great wine from local wineries, and over 120 craft beers on tap. Don't miss out on a great event!
The BrewFest package deal includes the ride and general admission to the Beer and Wine Fest, where you can imbibe on unlimited beer and wine tasting from 4 to 8 p.m., enjoy some great food (1 meal ticket), and listen to live music.
