Road construction update for the week of Sept. 1-7

Traffic control to continue on Curry St. for continued sidewalk construction, concrete, pavement, curbs and gutters along Curry and C St. Sidewalk construction on Valley Blvd. between Curry & Snyder to continue

The project has been funded by a $900,000 grant obtained from the Active Transportation Program (ATP), the City of Tehachapi contributed $20,000 to the project. The project connects sections of sidewalk where gaps existed for the purpose of making it safer for children to walk to school.
