Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager

The Coffee Mill played host to "Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager" on Thursday Oct. 19. "A wonderful way to meet members of the community in a relaxed atmosphere. I love this kind of interaction," said Mayor Ed Grimes.

City Manager events to be held at the Coffee Mill on Mil Street. City Manager Greg Garrett and Mayor Ed Grimes met with community members who stopped to voice concerns, ask questions or just say "hello". Both Garrett and Grimes like the cozy informal setting of the Coffee Mill and feel that it lends itself to more personal conversations.

Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager is a community engagement effort to bring our residents into a local business and let them bring the topic on their mind to city officials in a setting perfect for conversation.

"I am thrilled to be able to offer yet another opportunity for the public to interact with the city team, learning and listening of the desires of the citizens so we can work in concert creating a better Tehachapi, said Greg Garrett.

Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager will take place each month on the third Thursday at The Coffee Mill, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
