What's Up in Stallion Springs?

On Wednesday, April 4, the CERT team met at CERT Headquarters for a tour of Woodward West with Christy Poston, Front Office Lead, serving as the tour guide. (It has been discussed several times how Stallion Springs CERT could partner with the staff at Woodward during a disaster.)  This tour gave the team the opportunity to learn the layout of the camp and have a better understanding of what the facility looks like when it is full of campers and staff.  While Woodward operates much like a city within itself with its own CERT team, security, housing, food facilities, and medical staffs; in an emergency it may need some support from Stallion Springs or Stallion may need support from them. This tour opened the door as to what is available at Woodard and how the two groups could work together.

Grass area at Man O' War Park: CLOSED

For residents' convenience the playground and recreational area at Man O' War Park will remain open during this time. The grass area will be closed for approximately two months while the SSCSD makes upgrades and repairs. Residents are asked to stay out of this area for safety so we can open it up more promptly.
