Summer season is here. That means family get-togethers and parties with friends. Try out this recipe for our healthy Sassy Spiced Mixed Nuts. Your guests are sure to love them. As a bonus, they can be made days ahead and stored air-tight. No last minute stress on the host.

Sassy Spiced Mixed Nuts

Ingredients:
•*4 cups mixed nuts, unsalted • *1 tablespoon olive oil • 1/4 cup maple syrup
• *3 teaspoons ground dried rosemary • *3 teaspoons granulated garlic
• *3 teaspoons ground cumin seed • *3 teaspoons apple wood smoked salt
• 2 teaspoons turbinado raw sugar • *1½ teaspoons ground chipotle
• *1½ teaspoons medium roast to chili powder • Scant tablespoon minced fresh rosemary
Directions:
Heat oven to 350-degrees.
1. Put nuts, oil, syrup and spices to a large bowl. Stir well.
2. Line a baking sheet with nonstick foil. Spread nuts out to a single layer with as much space between as possible. Use more than one pan if necessary.
3. Bake in oven for 15-20-minutes, stirring every 5-minutes to avoid burning.
4. Can be served warm out of the oven or cooled and stored for later.
