Sligo Rags perform at Concerts in the Park

The band Sligo Rags, up from Southern California, performed before an audience of over 250 music lovers in Central Park on Sunday, July 15.

The concert drew people of all ages. Cindy Latham brought her grandsons Riley and Wyatt Share with her to enjoy the free concert.

Shade, a cooling breeze, and lots of great toe tapping fiddle and banjo music made for a superb Sunday in Central Park.

Raffle tickets were sold. Funds collected are earmarked for park improvement projects.

The band Sligo Rags, performing in Central Park last Sunday. They were the second of three scheduled bands to perform as part of the Summer in the Park Concert Series. Presented by the TVRPD, Fiddlers Crossing, and Music MX Entertainment. Funded in large part by Lehigh Cement. Third, and final concert in the series, will take place August 12th at 2pm and feature Tehachapis own T-POPS Orchestra.
