2018 Mountain Festival PRCA Rodeo

PRCA Rodeo Steer Wrestler Bobby Reneau, from Bakersfield, gets his steer and shows off his skills.

As the bull rider is tossed off, the nearby "bullfighters" and the barrel man are there to get the bull's attention allowing the fallen cowboy time to get up and move to safety.

This sheep does a victory leap after tossing off its young cowboy rider during the Mutton Busting exhibition at the Mountain Festival Rodeo.

Children up to 8 years old got the opportunity to "dig for silver dollars", during a portion of the Mt. Festival Rodeo.

Bull Riders must remain on the animal for 8 seconds. In addition... the form of the rider, and the aggressiveness of the animal, are all graded and part of the cowboys final score.

Barrel Man/Bullfighter, Safety Man/Clown, are the jobs associated with this one individual crouched down inside this barrel. After tossing off his rider the bull aims at the barrel and its occupant while the fallen rider scrambles away to safety. This barrel man is entertainer Rider Kiesner.

Watching the cowboy are barrel man Rider Kiesner, and fellow bullfighters, all their to protect the cowboy after he is bucked off.
