This year's Howdy Forrester Scholarship for a $1000.00 was awarded to Tehachapi High School student Sarah Frias. Sarah hopes to use it for college tuition where she plans to study a music curriculum.

Junior-Junior Division contestant Ginevra Robbins, from Tehachapi will go onto take a third place in this category.

First place winner this year for the Adult Senior-Senior Division is Gayel Pitchford. With her is second place winner in the division Wayne Agnew from Moorpark CA. Wayne is also this years oldest contestant at age 74.

2018 Grand prize winner who will go on to compete in Weiser Idaho is JosephWallek.
