Hot Chocolate Turkey Trot 5K

Runners leave the start line promptly at 9 a.m. on a temperate lakeside day.

Pre-race warm ups were led by TVRPD Yoga Instructor Danielle Green.

Today's fastest six runners will qualify them each for an Albertson donated holiday Turkey.

Runners leave the start line. Hosted by the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Department Cal Portland Cement again this year sponsored the Brite Lake run 5-K race.

The Hot Chocolate Turkey Trot is a timed, non-competitive family run, for "families of all ages," said race sponsors.

All that finished were award completion medals, runners and riders included.
