Stand back! The TVRPD Easter Egg Hunt has begun.
Look "another and another and...
Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Department event organizer Ashley Krempien, with one of the Easter egg hunts big soft donated prizes.
Winner of the biggest and softest prize was 2 1/2-year-old Anaya Love Meza sitting here with her mom. They came up from North Edwards and went home with a trunk stuffed with softness.

More than 350 kids started Easter a day early as they hunted for more than 5,000 eggs in West Park. Tehachapi Valley Recreation & Park District hosted this free event for kids 10 years and younger. Besides the traditional eggs, special eggs were also hidden around the park. These special finds could be redeemed for larger donated gifts.
Christian Life Assembly Church and Snow Orthodontics sponsored the event.
