The Tehachapi Friends of the Library is having another "2-in-1" book sale on Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Tehachapi Library, 212 S. Green St. The two sales are in adjacent rooms downstairs in the Library. This will be during Tehachapi's Apple Festival, which will be taking place Downtown.
One part of the sale is for the antique, rare and unique books that have been donated to the Friends of the Library. These books are all reasonably priced and are great for collectors or as gifts. One of the books coming up in this sale will be a copy of Siècle de Louis XV: Histoire du Parlement de Paris by Voltaire from 1854.
The second part of the sale will be the popular "Bag Sale", where you can buy a bag for $3 and fill it with books from the large collection of other books donated to the library, with many new fresh titles. There will be something for everybody.
Money from these book sales will be used to provide funding for the Tehachapi Library's wide variety of public programs.
