Tehachapi Apple Festival

Apple Festival festivities once again featured David SteeleReed and Co.'s imaginative puppet show. Pictured is an impromptu course in puppetry between SteeleReed and Jalen.

Winners in this year's Apple Pie Baking Contest, sponsored by The Loop newspaper, were (from l-r) Third Place Shawny Patrick, Second Place Kelly Knapp and First Place Nan Alvearez-Gray.

The Loop newspaper raised $250 from the pie baking contest for Tehachapi's Friends of the Library. Pictured (from l-r) are Marni Reid, FOTL President, Claudia White, owner/publisher of The Loop and Veronica Wilson, Head Librarian.
