CERT members recognized

At the Oct. 21 City Council meeting, Mayor Susan Wiggins presented Certificates of Recognition to the members of Tehachapi CERT groups who responded to the July 4 and 5 earthquakes in Ridgecrest. The City of Ridgecrest also sent their sincere thanks to the group. Awards were presented to CERT Coordinator Jeannie Taylor, John Nelson, David Shaw, Michael Coughlin, Sally Thoun, Teresa Coatlapeuh (not in attendance), William Fields, Sarah Rose, George Wolfe, Leslie Fields, Rob Dixon and David Cox (not shown in order listed).

Tehachapi City Council meetings are held the first and third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St., Tehachapi.
