Robert "Bob" Abowitz, 78, of Tehachapi, passed away on Monday, Jan. 20. Born on June 24, 1941 in Los Angeles, Calif., Bob moved to Tehachapi in 1989. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandy; daughters, Karen, Hilary and Tina; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
